Isabella "Issie" Blow was an English magazine editor. As the muse of hat designer Philip Treacy, she is credited with discovering the models Stella Tennant and Sophie Dahl as well as propelling and continually advocating the career of fashion designer Alexander McQueen, beginning when she bought the entirety of his explosive premier show inspired by Jack the Ripper. She committed suicide using the herbicide paraquat in 2007.
Dolores Cacuango
Dolores Cacuango, also known as Mamá Doloreyuk, was a pioneer in the fight for indigenous and farmers rights in Ecuador. She stood out in the political arena and was one of the first activists of Ecuadorian feminism, between '30s and '60s. She founded the Federación Ecuatoriana de Indios (FEI) in 1944 with the help of Ecuador's Communist Party.

Margareta Kozuch is a German female volleyball player who plays for Atom Trefl Sopot, and previously played as a wing-spiker for TuS Berne Hamburg, CVMJ Hamburg, TV Fischbek, and Unicom Starker Kerakoll Sassuolo. She was Hamburg's sportswoman of the year in 2005. She represented the German women's national volleyball team in the FIVB World Grand Prix 2009. She was German sportswoman of the year in 2010. She is of Polish origin.

Carlos Manuel de Marques Paião was a singer and songwriter from Portugal. He represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 with the song Playback. Carlos Paião was also a doctor, having graduated in medicine in 1983, but his great passion was music.

Rear Admiral Richard Evelyn Byrd Jr. was an American naval officer and explorer. He was a recipient of the Medal of Honor, the highest honor for valor given by the United States, and was a pioneering American aviator, polar explorer, and organizer of polar logistics. Aircraft flights in which he served as a navigator and expedition leader crossed the Atlantic Ocean, a segment of the Arctic Ocean, and a segment of the Antarctic Plateau. Byrd claimed that his expeditions had been the first to reach both the North Pole and the South Pole by air. His claim to have reached the North Pole is disputed. He is also known for discovering Mount Sidley, the largest dormant volcano in Antarctica.
