Ralph Ogle, 3rd Baron Ogle (1468–1512) was an English Baron from Northumberland, England.

Alfred Tauber was a Hungarian-born Austrian mathematician, known for his contribution to mathematical analysis and to the theory of functions of a complex variable: he is the eponym of an important class of theorems with applications ranging from mathematical and harmonic analysis to number theory. He was murdered in the Theresienstadt concentration camp.

Axel Freimuth is a German physicist. On 1 April 2005 he succeeded the mathematician Tassilo Küpper as Rector of Cologne University. His initial appointment was for a term of four years but this has subsequently been extended.

Robert Albert Charles Esnault-Pelterie was a French aircraft designer and spaceflight theorist. He is referred to as being one of the founders of modern rocketry and astronautics, along with the Russian Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, the Germans Hermann Oberth, Fritz von Opel, and the American Robert H. Goddard.
