Étienne Jacques-Joseph-Alexandre Macdonald, 1st Duke of Taranto, was a Marshal of the Empire and military leader during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars.

Angelo Drossos was the owner of the San Antonio Spurs basketball team from 1973 to 1988, from its time in the American Basketball Association through the ABA-NBA merger and into its years in the National Basketball Association. Drossos received the NBA Executive of the Year Award in 1978 and was instrumental in bringing the three-point field goal to the NBA. He died at age 68 in 1997 after battling supranuclear palsy.

Shaun Peter Murphy is an Australian former soccer player. His club career included stints with Notts County (1992–1997), West Bromwich Albion (1997–1999), Sheffield United (1999–2003) and Crystal Palace (2001–02) in England, before returning to Australia for one season to captain Perth Glory (2003–04).

Thomas Robert McInnes or (Gaelic) Tòmas Raibeart Mac Aonghais was a Canadian physician, Member of Parliament, Senator, and the sixth Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia.

Angela Schneider is a Canadian rower. She won a silver medal in the Coxed Fours event at the 1984 Summer Olympics. Schneider is currently a professor at the University of Western Ontario. She teaches a kinesiology course about ethics in sport.
