Engin Altay is a Turkish politician from the Republican People's Party (CHP) who serves as a Member of Parliament for the electoral district of Sinop since the 2002. He was re-elected in 2007, 2011, June 2015 and November 2015. On 30 June 2011, Altay was elected as one of the three CHP parliamentary group leaders, serving alongside Muharrem İnce, Akif Hamzaçebi and later Levent Gök.

Carlos Domingos Gomes Júnior is a Bissau-Guinean politician who was Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau from 10 May 2004 to 2 November 2005, and again from 25 December 2008 to 10 February 2012. He has been the President of the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde (PAIGC) since 2002 and is widely known as "Cadogo". He resigned as prime minister on 10 February 2012 to run in the presidential election triggered by President Malam Bacai Sanhá's death on 9 January.

Manuel "Sete" Gibernau Bultó is a Spanish former professional Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. His racing career spans three different eras of motorcycle racing, beginning with the two-stroke-dominated period prior to the 2002 season, and the four-stroke MotoGP era. He returned to racing in 2019 to compete in the electric-powered MotoE World Cup. Gibernau was one of the top riders in Grand Prix racing at the beginning of the MotoGP era.

Youichi Ui is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. His best seasons were in 2000, when he finished second in the 125cc world championship behind Roberto Locatelli and in 2001, when he finished second behind Manuel Poggiali. With his 6 Grand Prix victories in 2001, Ui tied a record set by Kenny Roberts in 1983 of most wins by a rider without winning a championship. He raced in Japan in 2007, winning the All Japan 250cc Road Race Championship.
