Marta Hernández Romero, born in Santiago de Cuba, was the mayor of Havana, Cuba, she was elected on 5 March 2011. She is the President of the People's Power Provincial Assembly of the City of Havana (mayor), diputada to the National Assembly, and a member of the Council of State in the VI Legislature. Soon before being elected as the mayor of the city, she was elected as a delegate to the VI Communist Party Congress and frontrunner to be a member of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party.

Ralf Brauksiepe is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Between 1998 and 2018, he served as a member of the Bundestag.

Johnny Leonard Roosevelt "Pepper" Martin was an American professional baseball player and minor league manager. He was known as the Wild Horse of the Osage because of his daring, aggressive baserunning abilities. Martin played in Major League Baseball as a third baseman and an outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals during the 1930s and early 1940s. He was best known for his heroics during the 1931 World Series, in which he was the catalyst in a Cardinals' upset victory over the Philadelphia Athletics.
