Raymond Henri Pos was a Surinamese diplomat and lawyer. He served as first Minister Plenipotentiary of Suriname from 29 December 1954 until 1 August 1963. Subsequently, he was appointed Dutch Ambassador of Cuba. Pos played a major role in the creation of the 1954 Charter for the Kingdom of the Netherlands which established the political relationship between the Netherlands and its former colonies.

Raymond Martin is a former French road bicycle racer. In the 1980 Tour de France he finished third overall and won the mountains classification. He also competed in the individual road race at the 1972 Summer Olympics.

Other victories include two wins in the Ronde de Seignelay, one win in Paris–Camembert and stage wins in Paris–Nice, the Grand Prix du Midi Libre and the Semana Catalane. Riotte was a teammate of Jacques Anquetil, Bernard Thévenet, Raymond Poulidor, Lucien Aimar and of Lucien Van Impe.

Raymond Ackerman is a South African businessman, who purchased the Pick 'n Pay supermarket group from its founder. He purchased four stores from Jack Goldin in the 1960s. Raymond Ackerman was chairman until he stepped down in 2010.
