Yousseph "Chico" Slimani is a British singer who rose to prominence in the United Kingdom after reaching the quarter-finals of the 2005 series of the talent show The X Factor. In 2006, he had a number one hit on the British charts entitled "It's Chico Time". In 2008, he appeared on the reality TV show CelebAir where he came third. In December 2019, he appeared at the 15th anniversary of Ely’s Christmas light switch event.

Francisco Rodrigues de Alencar Filho, known as Chico Alencar, is a Brazilian politician, historian, and writer, currently federal deputy for Rio de Janeiro, affiliated with the Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL). He left the Workers' Party (PT) in 2005, along with one of his partners Plínio de Arruda Sampaio, after the expulsion of Luciana Genro, Heloísa Helena and Babá from the party. He was elected by journalists, five times in a row, the best federal deputy of Brazil, receiving the Prêmio Congresso em Foco award. On 17 April 2016, he voted against the opening of the impeachment process of former president Dilma Rousseff.

Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo is an Indonesian badminton player. Born in Jayapura, Wardoyo started his career at the PB Pemda, and moved to Jakarta joining the Exist club in 2013. In 2015, he was selected to join the national team as an internship member. In 2016, he competed at the World Junior Championships, and claimed the silver medal in the boys' singles event.
Chico Carrasquel
Alfonso Carrasquel Colón, better known as Chico Carrasquel, was a Venezuelan professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a shortstop for the Chicago White Sox (1950–1955), Cleveland Indians (1956–1958), Kansas City Athletics (1958) and the Baltimore Orioles (1959). Carrasquel was the first in a long line of Major League shortstops from Venezuela including, Luis Aparicio, Dave Concepción, Ozzie Guillén and Omar Vizquel among others. He was notable for his excellent defensive abilities and for being the first Latin American in MLB history to start in an All-Star Game.
