Robert Achille Schiller was an American screenwriter. He worked extensively with fellow producer/screenwriter Bob Weiskopf on numerous television shows in the United States, including I Love Lucy (1955–1957) and All in the Family (1977–1979) on the CBS network. For the latter series, he received an Emmy Award in 1978 as one of the writers of the episode "Cousin Liz."

Robert Raymond Boone is an American former catcher and manager in Major League Baseball (MLB) who was a four-time All-Star. Born in San Diego, California, Bob Boone is the son of a Major League player, the late third baseman Ray Boone, and he is the father of two Major Leaguers: former second baseman Bret Boone and former utility infielder Aaron Boone. All four family members were named All-Stars during their careers.

Robert Gibson Kingsley was an American country music radio personality and a member of the National Radio Hall of Fame. He was best known as the host of two nationally syndicated radio programs: American Country Countdown (ACC) and Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40.

James Robert Horner is an American former professional baseball player who played the majority of his Major League Baseball career with the Atlanta Braves. He played mostly as a third baseman who later transitioned into a first baseman as he was hampered by injuries for most of his playing career. Horner also played for one season in the Nippon Professional Baseball League as a member of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows.

Robert Lee "Bob" Dunn was a pioneer Western swing steel guitarist. Influenced by influential Hawaiian lap steel guitar player Sol Hoʻopiʻi, Dunn played in his own original bluesy style and was one of the first to record an electric guitar, preceding other country & western guitarists following him shortly. He preceded by over three years George Barnes, Leonard Ware and, slightly later, Eddie Durham.

Melbourne Robert Cranshaw was an American jazz bassist. His career spanned the heyday of Blue Note Records to his recent involvement with the Musicians Union. He is perhaps best known for his long association with Sonny Rollins. Cranshaw performed in Rollins's working band on and off for over five decades, starting with a live appearance at the 1959 Playboy jazz festival in Chicago and on record with the 1962 album The Bridge.

Mohamad "Bob" Hasan was an Indonesian businessman, who served briefly as trade and industry minister in 1998 and was later jailed for corruption. He was one of the most prominent ethnic Chinese cronies of long-serving Indonesian president Suharto and was nicknamed "the plywood king" because of his forestry businesses. Hasan served as the chairman of the Indonesian Athletics Association from September 1984 until his death.

Robert James Ellis was an Australian writer, journalist, filmmaker, and political commentator. He was a student at the University of Sydney at the same time as other notable Australians including Clive James, Germaine Greer, Les Murray, John Bell, Ken Horler, Robert Hughes and Mungo McCallum. He lived in Sydney with the author and screenwriter Anne Brooksbank; they had three children.
