André Rebouças
André Pinto Rebouças was a Brazilian military engineer, abolitionist and inventor, son of Antônio Pereira Rebouças (1798–1880) and Carolina Pinto Rebouças. Lawyer, member of Parliament and an adviser to Pedro II of Brazil, his father was the son of a manumitted slave and a Portuguese tailor. His brothers Antônio Pereira Rebouças Filho and José Rebouças were also engineers.

André Leon Talley is an American fashion journalist, and the former creative director and American editor-at-large of Vogue magazine. He was the magazine's fashion news director from 1983 to 1987 and then its creative director from 1988 to 1995. He has authored three books, including two memoirs, and co-authored a book with Richard Bernstein. Talley has also served as international editor of the Russian fashion magazine Numéro.

André Azoulay is a Moroccan Jewish senior adviser to king Mohammed VI of Morocco. He previously advised Mohammed's father, king Hassan II. He currently presides over the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue Between Cultures, based in Alexandria, Egypt. He is also President of the Executive Committee of the Foundation for the Three Cultures and the Three Religions, based in Seville, Spain, a founding member of the C-100 Davos Forum for the Dialogue of Civilisations and religions, and was formerly Executive Vice-President of the BNP Paribas, Paris. His daughter is UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay.

He led two embassies to the Mongols: the first carried letters from Pope Innocent IV and the second bore gifts and letters from Louis IX of France to Güyük Khan. André Burakovsky is an Austrian-born Swedish professional ice hockey forward for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). He had previously played for the Washington Capitals, who drafted him 23rd overall in 2013. Burakovsky won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Capitals in 2018.
