Miyuu Kihara is a Japanese table tennis player.

Over the past five decades there have been a number of adult film actors who have appeared in mainstream films with varying degrees of success. In the 1970s, adult film actors Marilyn Chambers and Linda Lovelace tried crossing over to mainstream careers, but had little success. Chambers did work with David Cronenberg in 1977's horror film Rabid, which went on to achieve cult success. Former adult film star Traci Lords appeared in John Waters' films Cry-Baby and Serial Mom, and Lords also appeared in the comedy film Zack and Miri Make a Porno. The gay pornographic star Johnny Hazzard more recently appeared in the mainstream gay drama Tiger Orange.

Alexander Valentinovich Vampilov was a Soviet playwright. His play The Elder Son was first performed in 1969, and became a national success two years later. Many of his plays have been filmed or televised in Russia. His four full-length plays were translated into English and Duck Hunting was performed in London and Washington DC.

José Rafael Albrecht was an Argentine professional footballer who played as a defender. He represented Argentina at the 1962 and 1966 World Cups.

Yuriy Eduardovich Dumchev was a Russian track and field athlete for the Soviet Union, who set the world record in the men's discus throw on 29 May 1983 with a distance of 71.86 metres. He was born in Rossosh. That mark, surpassed by current record-holder Jürgen Schult in July 1986, is still the world record. A 1980 Olympian, Dumchev also represented the Soviet Union at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, finishing in fourth place.

Joaquim Roriz was a Brazilian politician. He was the first elected governor of the Federal District, in 1990, and served three separate terms between 1991 and 2006. He had previously held the office as an appointee from the federal government between 1988 and 1990.

Emerson Tsai is a Taiwanese actor, television host and singer. He appeared on the third season of singing competition television series Super Idol in 2009, and came in eighth place. In 2010, Tsai made his acting debut in Monga, a gang film directed by Doze Niu. Since then, he has continued to act in both film and television with productions such as You Are the Apple of My Eye (2011), The Fierce Wife Final Episode (2012), Mr. Right Wanted (2014), Blue Sunny Days (2015) and Swimming Battle (2016).

Bruno Jacinto da Silva, known as Bruno Paulista, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Sporting CP B as a defensive midfielder.

Yevgeni Vladimirovich Zimin was a Soviet ice hockey player who played in the Soviet Hockey League. He played for HC Spartak Moscow. He was inducted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 1968.

Janine Charrat was a French dancer and choreographer. She appeared in Ballerina at the age of 12, and went on to choreograph over 50 ballets. She was an officer of the Legion of Honour.
