Fethia Mokhtar Mzali was a Tunisian teacher and politician who became one of the country's first two female ministers in 1983. Her husband, Mohammed Mzali served as the country's Prime Minister from 1980 to 1986.

Carlos Robles Piquer was a Spanish diplomat and politician.

Michel Bonnevie was a French basketball player who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics. He was part of the French national basketball team, which won the silver medal.

Josy Moinet was a French politician who served as a Senator for Charente-Maritime from 1973 to 1989, and as Mayor of Saint-Rogatien from 1959 to 2008, representing the PRG.

Fernando Llort Choussy was a Salvadoran artist, often dubbed "El Salvador's National Artist" by the Foundation for Self Sufficiency in Central America. He is known for teaching the citizens of the small town of La Palma, Chalatenango, how to make a living through art. His style is colorful and often childlike; it can be compared to that of Joan Miró and in some instances to that of Pablo Picasso.
