Alain Colmerauer was a French computer scientist. He was a professor at Aix-Marseille University, and the creator of the logic programming language Prolog.

Marcel Kunz was a Swiss footballer who played as a goalkeeper.

Yūta Komori is a Japanese professional shogi player, ranked 5-dan.

Aldo Quaglio was a French rugby union and rugby league player. He represented France at the 1960 Rugby League World Cup and played in 14 rugby league tests for France.

Paolo Mario Limiti was an Italian lyricist, journalist, radio and television writer and presenter.

Coriún Aharonián was an Uruguayan composer and musicologist.

Grete Anni Berget was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She was born in Vinstra, Nord-Fron, Oppland, and worked as a journalist in her early career. Berget was private advisor to the Prime Minister 1990 – 1991, and Minister of Children and Family Affairs 1991 – 1996. From 2003 she was secretary general of the Norwegian European Movement. Berget died from cancer on 9 November 2017.
