Shuntaro Hida was a Japanese physician who was an eyewitness when the Little Boy atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima by the Enola Gay on 6 August 1945. He treated survivors as a medical doctor and wrote about the effects of radiation on the human body.

Josy (Yossef) Eisenberg was a French television producer and rabbi. A hasidic Jew of Polish origin, he produced an animated TV show, À bible ouverte, which has been running on France 2 since the early 1960s. He was also the co-scenarist of the movie The Adventures of Rabbi Jacob. and wrote a number of different books including Seven Lights: On the Major Jewish Festivals with Adin Steinsaltz and Job ou Dieu dans la tempête with Elie Wiesel.

Hans Folke "Hasse" Alfredson was a Swedish actor, film director, writer and comedian. He was born in Malmö, Sweden. He is known for his collaboration with Tage Danielsson as the duo Hasse & Tage and their production company AB Svenska Ord. His most celebrated contribution to their brand of humorist humanism was his ability to extemporize wildly absurd comic situations, for example in the Lindeman dialogues. Already in 1970 he gave a taste of another and less comedic side in the role as an rather unpleasant civil servant in Grisjakten. As time went by, Alfredson more or less totally turned around to become a serious author and film director. In 1982 he both directed and participated in the film The Simple-Minded Murderer, a motion picture based on his own novel "En ond man". Here Alfredson portrayed a rich and indeed very unpleasant manufacturer and Nazi-supporter who tormented the inhabitants of his native Scanian country-side in the 1930s. With just a brief return to a revue comedy in 1984, he never returned to that genre after the 1985 death of Tage Danielsson. Between 1992 and 1994 he was manager of the cultural museum "Skansen" at Stockholm. In the mid-00s he participated in the Danish criminal-odyssey The Eagle playing the pivotal role of the protagonist Hallgrim "The Eagle" Hallgrimsson's father, whose childhood trauma at his hands is recurrent throughout the series. His last cinematic work was the 2009 adaption of Stieg Larsson's novel The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, directed by one of his two sons, Daniel Alfredson. The pair came together on Swedish television discussing their collaboration and the elder Alfredsson's role as a rogue Swedish Security Police operative, including staging his violent death on the set.

Kenji Watanabe was a Japanese breaststroke swimmer. He represented his native country in three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1984. His best Olympic result was the 7th place (2:14.70) in the Men's 200m Breaststroke event at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. He was the grandson of Hisakichi Toyoda, who won a gold medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle in the 1932 Summer Olympics.

Eric Harrison Broadley MBE was a British entrepreneur, engineer, and founder and chief designer of Lola Cars, the motor racing manufacturer and engineering company. He was arguably one of the most influential automobile designers of the post-war period, and over the years Lola was involved with many high-profile projects in Formula One, IndyCar, and sports car racing. Broadley sold Lola to Martin Birrane in 1999.

Pierre Gaspard-Huit was a French film director and screenwriter. He directed the 1963 film Shéhérazade, which starred Anna Karina. He was once married to actress Claudine Auger when she was 18, and he was 41 years old. She acted in several of his films.

Lars-Erik Berenett was a Swedish actor, well known for his title role in the films about Roland Hassel and for his role as Harald Bovallius in the soap opera Skilda världar. Internationally he is best known for his leading role in the series Jordskott. From 1971 to 1976, he was married to Evabritt Strandberg, with whom he had a son, Matti Berenett. Later he married Maria Kulle.
