John "Hot Rod" Williams was an American professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1986 to 1999.

Arthur Robert Morris was an Australian cricketer who played 46 Test matches between 1946 and 1955. An opener, Morris is regarded as one of Australia's greatest left-handed batsmen. He is best known for his key role in Don Bradman's Invincibles side, which made an undefeated tour of England in 1948. He was the leading scorer in the Tests on the tour, with three centuries. His efforts in the Fourth Test at Headingley helped Australia to reach a world record victory target of 404 on the final day. Morris was named in the Australian Cricket Board's Team of the Century in 2000 and was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame in 2001.

Ahmed Abdel Hadi Chalabi was an Iraqi politician, a founder of the Iraqi National Congress (INC) and the President of the Governing Council of Iraq.

Georgi Yungvald-Khilkevich was a Soviet and Russian film director, screenwriter, producer, actor, theatre director and set designer. Most famous for his musicals and Alexandre Dumas adaptations. He directed 22 motion pictures and TV films between 1966 and 2009. Honored Artist of the Russian SFSR (1990) and Ukraine (1995).

Malleshappa Madivalappa Kalburgi, commonly known as M. M. Kalburgi, was an Indian scholar of Vachana sahitya in the Kannada-language and academic who served as the vice-chancellor of Kannada University in Hampi. A noted epigraphist of Kannada, he was awarded the National Sahitya Akademi Award in 2006 for Marga 4, a collection of his research articles.

Donald Howe was an English football player, coach, manager and pundit. As a right back Howe featured for clubs West Bromwich Albion and Arsenal together with the English national football team in his playing career. He also went on to manage sides West Brom, Arsenal, Galatasaray, Queens Park Rangers and Coventry City. Howe was also a successful coach and has been described as one of the most influential figures of the English footballing game.

Igor Dmitrievich Sergun was Director of GRU, Russia's military intelligence service, from 2011 until his sudden death. He was promoted to Colonel General on 21 February 2015.

Anita Marianne Ekberg was a Swedish actress active in American and European films. She is best known for her role as Sylvia in the Federico Fellini film La Dolce Vita (1960). Ekberg worked primarily in Italy, where she became a permanent resident in 1964.
