Antoine Choueiri
Antoine Choueiri was a Lebanese media executive. He was the founder of Choueiri Group, the Middle East's largest media broker. He was born in Beirut in 1939 to a Maronite Christian family from Bsharri and married his wife Rose Salameh in 1961 who gave birth to two children. He died on March 9, 2010 of health complications, he is buried in his ancestral home of Bsharri in his honor one of Bsharri's main streets will be named "Antoine Choueiri" in homage to him and his achievements.
Ko Tun-hwa
Vice Admiral Ko Tun-hwa was a geostrategist, former Vice Minister of Defense of Taiwan and former National Policy Advisor to the President of the Taiwan. Admiral Ko Tun-hwa graduated in 1957 with the first class of the Naval Command Course, the first course for international officers, at the United States Naval War College.
