Victor Cosson was a French professional road bicycle racer from 1937 to 1950. In his second year as a professional cyclist, he finished third in the 1938 Tour de France. His biggest victory was the Paris–Camembert edition of 1943. He was born in Lorges.

Warren Eastman Hearnes was an American politician who served as the 46th Governor of Missouri from 1965 to 1973. A member of the Democratic Party, he was the first officeholder eligible to serve two consecutive four-year terms.

Remo Forlani (1927–2009) was a French writer and screenwriter born in Paris to a French mother and an Italian immigrant father.

Arthur E. "Art" Bartlett was an American entrepreneur and founder of the Century 21 Real Estate franchise. He and a partner founded the company in 1971 with a single office, which had expanded to 7,700 offices worldwide by the time of his death, though he had sold the business to Trans World Corporation in 1979 for $89 million.

Max Théret was the co-founder of Fnac, originally Fédération nationale d’achats des cadres, or National Purchasing Federation for Middle Managers, alongside André Essel. He was also a freemason antifascist activist and a believer in Trotskyism.
