June Haver was an American film actress, singer, and dancer. Once groomed by 20th Century Fox to be "the next Betty Grable", Haver appeared in a string of musicals, but she never achieved Grable's popularity. Haver's second husband was the actor Fred MacMurray, whom she married after she retired from show business.

Daniel Peter O'Herlihy was an Irish-born American film actor, known for such roles as Brigadier General Warren A. "Blackie" Black in Fail Safe, Marshal Ney in Waterloo, Conal Cochran in Halloween III: Season of the Witch, "The Old Man" in RoboCop, Grig in The Last Starfighter, and Andrew Packard in Twin Peaks. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for the 1954 film Adventures of Robinson Crusoe.

Giuliano Bonfante was an Italian linguist and expert on the language of the Etruscans and other Italic peoples. He was professor of linguistics at the University of Genoa and then at the University of Turin.

Gaston Rahier was a Belgian professional motocross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1967 to 1979. Rahier is notable for being a three-time FIM 125cc motocross world champion. After his motocross career, he became a successful Rally Raid competitor.

He was known for playing Commander Ed Straker in UFO, Captain Blue in Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons and for voicing Philip Marlowe in a series of BBC Radio adaptations of the Marlowe novels by Raymond Chandler.

Hamilton Naki was a laboratory assistant to cardiac surgeon Christiaan Barnard in South Africa. He was recognised for his surgical skills and for his ability to teach medical students and physicians such skills despite not having received a formal medical education, and took a leading role in organ transplant research on animals.

Donald James Yarmy, known professionally as Don Adams, was an American actor, comedian and director. In his five decades on television, he was best known as Maxwell Smart in the television situation comedy Get Smart, which he also sometimes directed and wrote. Adams won three consecutive Emmy Awards for his performance in the series (1967–69). Adams also provided the voices for the animated series Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales (1963–66) and Inspector Gadget (1983–86) as well as several revivals and spinoffs of the latter in the 1990s.

Ma Ho-ling (Chinese: 馬鶴凌; pinyin: Mǎ Hèlíng; Wade–Giles: Ma³ Ho⁴-ling²; 9 November 1920 – 1 November 2005) was a high official of Kuomintang and the Republic of China. He was the father of Ma Ying-jeou, the former President of the Republic of China.
