Geoffrey Raoul de Havilland Jr., OBE was a British test pilot. He was the son of Geoffrey de Havilland, the English aviation pioneer and aircraft designer.

Sir Hugh Percy Allen was an English musician, academic, and administrator. He was a leading influence on British musical life in the first half of the 20th century.

Ion Antonescu was a Romanian military officer and Marshal who presided over two successive wartime dictatorships as the Prime Minister and Conducător during most of World War II. After the war, he was executed.

Andrey Andreyevich Vlasov was a Russian Red Army general. During World War II, he fought in the Battle of Moscow and later was captured attempting to lift the siege of Leningrad. After being captured, he defected to Nazi Germany and headed the Russian Liberation Army. At the war's end, he changed sides again and ordered the ROA to aid the Prague uprising against the Germans. He and the ROA then tried to escape to the Western Front, but were captured by Soviet forces. Vlasov was tried for treason and hanged.

Giuseppe Adami was an Italian librettist, playwright and music critic, he was best known for his collaboration with Giacomo Puccini on the operas La rondine (1917), Il tabarro (1918) and Turandot (1926).
