Jean-Jules Clamageran was a French politician of the French Third Republic. He was briefly minister of finance in the ministry of Henri Brisson. He was made a life senator in the Senate of France in 1882.

Vicente Fidel López was an Argentine historian, lawyer and politician. He was a son of writer and politician Vicente López y Planes.

Eugène Train (1832–1903) was a French architect who taught for many years at the École des Arts Décoratifs. He is known as an advocate of rationalist architecture, which he applied with large schools such as the Lycée Chaptal and Lycée Voltaire.

Eliza Carol Morgan Hendricks was the wife of Vice President Thomas A. Hendricks who was in office for the first eight months of the first administration of Grover Cleveland until his death on November 25, 1885. She was the Second Lady of the United States from March to November 1885. She served as First Lady of Indiana (1873–77).

Alexander I or Aleksandar Obrenović was king of Serbia from 1889 to 1903 when he and his wife, Draga Mašin, were assassinated by a group of Royal Serbian Army officers, led by Captain Dragutin Dimitrijević.
