Lawrence B. Marcus was an American screenwriter. He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Adapted Screenplay for the film The Stunt Man. Marcus died in August 2001 of Parkinson's disease at the Motion Picture & Television Fund cottages in Woodland Hills, California, at the age of 84.

Ervin Nyiregyházi was a Hungarian-American pianist and composer. After several years on the concert stage in the 1920s, he descended into relative obscurity before briefly reemerging in the 1970s. His highly distinctive playing style, which has been seen by some as linked to the kind of Romantic pianism associated with Franz Liszt, divided critical opinion.

Laurent Lolesio Fuahea was the Roman Catholic bishop of the Diocese of Wallis et Futuna from 1974 until 2005. Fuahea was born in Hihifo, Wallis and became the bishop in the Roman Catholic Church on 16 July 1972. He was ordained a priest in 1957 and succeeded Michel-Maurice-Augustin-Marie Darmancier as bishop of Wallis and Futuna on 25 April 1974. He was succeeded by Ghislain Marie Raoul Suzanne de Rasilly.
