Fritz Chervet was a Swiss professional boxer who challenged for the WBA flyweight title twice in 1973 and 1974. At regional level he held the European flyweight title twice between 1972 and 1974.

Violet Trefusis was an English socialite and author. She is chiefly remembered for her lengthy affair with the writer Vita Sackville-West, which the two women continued after their respective marriages. This was featured in novels by both parties; in Virginia Woolf's novel Orlando: A Biography, and in many letters and memoirs of the period, roughly 1912–1922. She may have been the inspiration for aspects of the character Lady Montdore in Nancy Mitford's Love in a Cold Climate, and of Muriel in Harold Acton's The Soul's Gymnasium.

Gwyneth Patricia Dunwoody was a British Labour Party politician, who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Exeter from 1966 to 1970, and then for Crewe from February 1974 to her death in 2008.
