Mahbub ul Haq was a Pakistani economist, politician and international development theorist who served as Finance Minister of Pakistan from 10 April 1985 until 28 January 1986, and again from June to December of 1988.

Stephan Balint. was a writer, actor, theatre director and playwright. Balint was co-founder of New York's Squat Theatre where he wrote, acted and directed L-Train to Eldorado and Full Moon Killer.

Margarete "Grete" Wittkowski was a German economist and politician. Between 1961 and 1967 she served as deputy chair of the East German Council of Ministers, the only woman ever to hold this post. Between 1967 and 1974, she served as President of the East German National Bank.
