Germán Enrique Centeno Reneau, known as “Quique” Renau was a Honduran football player.

Rokas Žilinskas was a Lithuanian journalist and politician. He was elected to the Seimas in 2008 and was a member of the Lithuanian Parliament until his death. He was the first openly gay member of the parliament.

Mohamed Ofei Sylla was a Guinean professional football midfielder.

Vladimir Konstantinovich Safronov was a featherweight amateur boxer.

Emmanuelle Claret was a French biathlete. Her best performance came in 1996 when she became world champion in the Biathlon World Championships 1996 in Ruhpolding at 15 km. She also won a silver medal with the French relay at the same championships. She won the overall World Cup in 1996. She has won three individual victories in the world cup. She died of leukemia on 11 May 2013, aged 44.

Ibrahim Kalil Konaté was a Guinean politician and computer scientist. He served as Minister of National Education and Literacy and was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Loterie nationale de Guinée.

Doğan Öz, was a Turkish prosecutor. He was assassinated in 1978 while investigating the Turkish deep state. In 1978 he wrote a report for Prime Minister Bülent Ecevit accusing clandestine groups of creating chaos in order to lay the ground for a military takeover. Haluk Kırcı, a Grey Wolves activist, was implicated in his assassination.

Piersanti Mattarella was an Italian politician. He was assassinated by the Mafia while he held the position of President of the Regional Government of Sicily. He was the brother of Sergio Mattarella, who has been the President of Italy since February, 2015.
