Minnie Julia Riperton Rudolph was an American singer-songwriter best known for her 1975 single "Lovin' You" and her five-octave coloratura soprano range. She is also widely known for her use of the whistle register and has been referred to by the media as the "queen of the whistle register."
Paul Warner Powell
Paul Warner Powell was an American man convicted and executed for the murder and attempted rape of a 16-year-old acquaintance in 1999. He also raped and severely injured the girl's 14-year-old sister, who unexpectedly survived. After his capital murder conviction was vacated on appeal, he wrote letters boasting about his crimes under the mistaken belief that he was exempt from punishment by the principle of double jeopardy. His letters were used as evidence against him in a second trial that resulted in his execution in 2010.

Natina Tiawana Reed was an American singer-songwriter, rapper, and actress. Medical staff at University Hospital Galway denied her request for an abortion following an incomplete miscarriage on the grounds that granting her request would be illegal under Irish law, ultimately resulting in her death from septic miscarriage. Her death served as a rallying cry for efforts to repeal the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution of Ireland, which prohibited abortion in most instances.
