Kameron Kraig 'Kam' Mickolio is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp, and Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB), and the Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB).

John Ngugi Kamau, is a former Kenyan long-distance runner, often called one of the greatest cross country runners of all time and winner of the 5000 metres at the 1988 Summer Olympics, in Seoul South Korea.

Ludwig des Coudres was a German history and portrait painter. He also served as a Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Karlsruhe. His son, Adolf Des Coudres, was a well-known landscape painter.

Daisuke Inoue is a Japanese businessman best known as the inventor of a karaoke machine. Inoue, a musician in his youth employed in backing businesspeople who wanted to sing in bars, invented the machine as a means of allowing them to sing without live back-up. He did not patent the machine and so did not directly profit, but he continued to work in the industry it generated, including patenting a pesticide for karaoke machines. Named one of Time Magazines "Most Influential Asians of the Century" in 1999, he was awarded the Ig Nobel Peace Prize in 2004 and in 2005 was the subject of the Japanese biographical film Karaoke.

Curtis Dwight Wilbur was an American lawyer, California state judge, 43rd United States Secretary of the Navy and a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Guido Notari was an Italian actor and radio presenter. He appeared in more than fifty films from 1939 to 1956.

William Warren was an actor. His first appearance was as Young Norval in Home's tragedy of Douglas. He also performed in Yorkshire. As Trueman in George Barnwell, as Hastings in She Stoops to conquer, as a pilgrim in King Richard, Mirvan in Orphan of China and First Scholar in The Padlock at Leeds theatre. Soon afterward, Warren came to the United States, making his debut at Baltimore, Maryland, as Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet. In 1805 he went to England, as agent for the Philadelphia Theatre, to recruit a company of comedians.

Jacques Dumont called "le Romain", was a French history and portrait painter, called "the Roman" from his youthful residence at Rome and to distinguish him from other artists named Dumont, notably his fellow-academician Jean-Joseph Dumont. His father, Pierre, was a court sculptor to the Duke of Lorraine and his elder brother, François (1687/88—1726), was also a sculptor. In addition to his paintings he practiced etching, in which medium he reproduced some of his paintings and, for example, Servandoni's view of the fireworks celebrating the marriage of the dauphin, 1730. Though comparatively unknown today, he enjoyed celebrity and a long, successful career.
