Pierre-Yves Trémois was a French visual artist and sculptor, known for evocative works drawing in equal proportions on surrealism and science illustration, and for combining graphic precision and rigor with flamboyant fantasy. He was born in Paris.

Raymond Lindon was a French magistrat, First Advocate General at the Court of Cassation and mayor of the French town of Etretat from May 1929 to March 1959. He was the son of Alfred Lindon and Fernande Citroën.

Jean Martinelli was a French actor who appeared in over 50 French films between 1933 and 1983, mostly in supporting roles. One of his few international films was Alfred Hitchcock's classic film To Catch a Thief (1955), where he played the role of a one-legged waiter. Martinelli also worked in television and theatre.

Her participation in the Miss Universe contest drew international media attention, and her controversial loss to American Ella Van Hueson prompted critical dispute over what counted as "real beauty". Pierre Delaunay was the second General Secretary of UEFA. He succeeded his father Henri Delaunay in the post, on an interim basis from his father's death on 9 November 1955 and then officially from 8 June 1956. He died in Versailles on 24 January 2019, aged 99.
