Simon Melkianus Tahamata is a Dutch football coach and former professional player who played for Dutch and Belgian clubs. He also played 22 times for the Dutch national team, scoring twice. Tahamata was born in the Netherlands, but took Belgian nationality in 1990.

Jan Timman is a Dutch chess Grandmaster who was one of the world's leading players from the late 1970s to the early 1990s. At the peak of his career he was considered to be the best non-Soviet player and was known as "The Best of the West". He has won the Dutch Chess Championship nine times and has been a Candidate for the World Championship several times. He lost the title match of the 1993 FIDE World Championship against Anatoly Karpov.
Samuel Jessurun de Mesquita
Samuel Jessurun de Mesquita was a Dutch graphic artist active in the years before the Second World War. His pupils included graphic artist M. C. Escher (1898–1972). A Sephardic Jew, in his old age he was sent to Auschwitz by the Nazis, where he was gassed along with his wife. After the war, de Mesquita was largely forgotten.

Don Pepijn Schipper, better known by his stage name Don Diablo, is a Dutch DJ, record producer, musician and songwriter of electronic dance music from Coevorden. He is known for his electronic style of production and vocalizing in most of his songs. He is one of the pioneers of the future house genre and was ranked sixth in the Top 100 DJs – 2020 list by DJ Mag. He was also ranked number one Producer of the Year for 2018 by 1001Tracklists. In 2016, he was ranked the number one Future House Artist of the Year on Beatport.
