Hector "Hekkie" Budler is a South African professional boxer. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the unified WBA (Super), IBF, and The Ring light-flyweight titles in 2018, and the IBO and WBA minimumweight titles between 2011 and 2016.

Derek Leonard Roy is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who is currently playing with EHC München of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Roy has played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Buffalo Sabres, Dallas Stars, Vancouver Canucks, St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators and the Edmonton Oilers. He was originally drafted in the second round, 32nd overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

Patrick Twumasi is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a right winger for German club Hannover 96. He made two appearances for the Ghana national team in 2017.

Yōsuke Kondō is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. Kondō, the son of former Minister of Labor Tetsuo Kondo, was born in Washington, D.C. but grew up in Yamagata Prefecture. A graduate Keio University, he joined the national newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun in 1988, which he left in 1999. He was elected for the first time in 2003 after an unsuccessful run in 2000.
