Most Rev Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo is the Catholic Bishop of Oyo diocese. He was born on the 13th of July 1961. He was ordained a Catholic Priest by the then Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oyo, Most rev Julius Babatunde Adelakun on the 4th of January, 1986. He was appointed the Catholic Bishop of Oyo by Pope Benedict XVI after the retirement of Julius Babatunde Adelakun on 14 August 2007.

Stefania Berton is an Italian former competitive pair skater. With partner Ondřej Hotárek, she is the 2013 European bronze medalist, the 2013 Skate Canada International champion, and a three-time Italian national champion. Berton/Hotárek are the first Italian pair skaters to win European and Grand Prix medals.

Sara Blengsli Kværnø is a Norwegian badminton player, born in Namsos. She competed in women's singles at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She was ranked 104th in the world when entering the 2012 Summer Olympics. She was the first female badminton player to represent Norway at the Olympics.

Alfred Yi Cho is the Adjunct Vice President of Semiconductor Research at Alcatel-Lucent's Bell Labs. He is known as the "father of molecular beam epitaxy"; a technique he developed at that facility in the late 1960s. He is also the co-inventor, with Federico Capasso of quantum cascade lasers at Bell Labs in 1994.
