Raquel Carrera Quintana is a Spanish professional basketball player currently signed by the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA as well as by Valencia Basket in Spain. She was drafted by the Dream 15th overall in the 2021 WNBA Draft. Carrera is the highest Spanish player ever picked in the WNBA draft.

Marta Ortega Pérez is the daughter of Amancio Ortega and was appointed chair of Inditex as of December 2021. Ortega replaced Pablo Isla, who was chair and CEO of Inditex since 2011. In April 2022 she will become president of the company.

Ramón Luís Chao Rego was a Spanish journalist and writer. He won the Premio de Virtuosismo for Piano in 1955. The same year he moved to Paris, France to study music with Nadia Boulanger and Lazare Lévy. In 1960 he began his collaboration with the RTF's Iberian languages Service. He was head of this service ten years later. At the same time he was collaborating with the Spanish weekly Triunfo, the monthly Le Monde Diplomatique, and the daily newspapers Le Monde and La Voz de Galicia.

Eugenio Montero Ríos was a leading member of the Spanish Liberal Party before being part of a 1903 schism that divided it. He also served briefly as Prime Minister of Spain. He played a role in the 1898 Treaty of Paris that ended the Spanish–American War as he was then President of the Senate of Spain.
