Jan Pieter Hogendijk is a Dutch mathematician and historian of science. Since 2005 he is professor of history of mathematics at the University of Utrecht.

Johannes Hendricus Jurres (1875—1946) was a Dutch painter who was compared to Rembrandt, Velazquez and Rubens during his lifetime. He was one of the most influential painters of the interwar period.

Luitzen "Lou" Dijkstra was a Dutch speed skater who competed in the 1936 Winter Olympics.

Johannes Arnoldus "John" Jorritsma is a Dutch politician serving as Mayor of Eindhoven since 13 September 2016. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), he previously was the King's Commissioner of the province of Friesland between 16 May 2008 and 12 September 2016.

Sebald Justinus Brugmans was a Dutch botanist and physician. He was the son of naturalist Anton Brugmans (1732-1789).

Wieteke Harmanna Cramer is a speed skater from the Netherlands who won bronze allround medals at the 2001 European Championships and the 2004 World Championships. She also won two national titles, in the 1500 m (2000) and allround (2006). She finished in second place allround in 2002, and in third place in the 3000 m (2000), 5000 m (2001) and allround (2004).

Sandra Kornelia Zwolle is a retired speed skater from the Netherlands who was active between 1988 and 1999. She competed at the 1998 Winter Olympics in the 500 m and 1000 m and finished in 17th and 15th place, respectively. She won a bronze medal in the 1500 m at the world championships in 1996 and a silver medal in the 1000 m in 1997. Nationally, she won the 1000 m in 1995 and 1996 and collected more than ten silver and bronze medals in various disciplines between 1991 and 1999.
