Daniel Frederick Grant was a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger, who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for parts of fourteen seasons, most notably for the Minnesota North Stars. In his career, Grant notched 263 goals and 535 points while playing for the Montreal Canadiens, Minnesota North Stars, Detroit Red Wings and the Los Angeles Kings, and played in three All-Star Games.

Carmen Lombardo was the younger brother of bandleader Guy Lombardo. He was a vocalist and composer.

Hélène Florent is a Canadian film and television actress. Her roles have included the television series Les Invincibles, Toute la vérité, La galère, and the 2000s revival of Lance et compte, as well as the films Yellowknife, Familia, Life with My Father and Café de Flore. She garnered a Genie Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 32nd Genie Awards for her performance in Café de Flore. That film also got her nominated for a Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2012.

The French-Canadian Desjardins has been described as "the most influential non-Italian in the Montreal Mafia since William Obront and Armand Courville". Despite sharing the same surname, Desjardins is not related to André Desjardins, a notoriously corrupt union boss turned loan shark.

Christine Girard is a Canadian weightlifter from White Rock, British Columbia. She competes in the 63 kg division. Girard was the first Canadian female to win a medal in weightlifting when she won gold at the 2012 London Olympics. She also won Commonwealth Games and Pan American Games titles in her weight class and has won multiple medals in each of those competitions. She holds the Commonwealth games record and the Pan-American Games record in the Clean and Jerk.
