She has previously won multiple medals at the World Youth Archery Championships, and won a bronze medal at a 2019 Archery World Cup event. Barbelin competed in the women's individual event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Joseph Leonard Gilles Lupien was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played five seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for the Montreal Canadiens, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Hartford Whalers from 1977 to 1982.
