A native of Colorado City, Texas, Moeser earned bachelor's and master's degrees in music from the University of Texas at Austin and a doctorate from the University of Michigan.

Misbah El-Ahdab, born on April 1, 1962 in Tripoli, Lebanon, is a Lebanese politician and a former MP representing Tripoli in the Lebanese Parliament. He was elected to parliament in 1996 and re-elected in the legislative elections of 2000 and 2005.
