Benny Urquidez is an American kickboxer, martial arts choreographer and actor. Nicknamed "The Jet", Urquidez was a non-contact karate competitor who later pioneered full-contact fighting in the United States. He made the transition from point to full-contact karate in 1974, the year of its inception in the US, frequently fighting in bouts where the rules were ambiguous and contrasts in styles were dramatic. Urquidez is also known for once holding the rare achievement of six world titles in five different weight divisions, and remained largely undefeated in his 27-year career. His only loss came in a Muay Thai match which was shrouded in controversy, as Urquidez had only agreed to a no-decision exhibition, a clause which was ignored when the fight had ended.

César Antonio Molina Sánchez is a Spanish writer, translator, university professor, cultural manager and politician. He served as Minister of Culture of Spain from July 2007 until April 2009.

Osvaldo César Ardiles, often referred to in Britain as Ossie Ardiles, is a football manager, pundit and former midfielder who won the 1978 FIFA World Cup as part of the Argentine national team. He now runs his own football school in the UK called the Ossie Ardiles Soccer School.

Jacques Jean Claude Santini is a French former professional footballer and manager. He played for Saint-Étienne during the 1970s, and reached the European Cup final with them in 1976. He has coached the French national team - winning the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup and reaching the quarter-finals of Euro 2004 - and clubs including Olympique Lyonnais.

Jean-Pierre Rives is a French former rugby union player and visual artist. "A cult figure in France", according to the BBC, he came to epitomise the team's spirit and "ultra-committed, guts-and-glory style of play". He won 59 caps for France – 34 of them as captain – and was inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame. After retiring from the sport, Rives concentrated entirely on his art. He is both a painter and a sculptor, and exhibiting regularly at prominent public venues all over the globe. Rives was awarded the Order of the Legion of Honor and the National Order of Merit by the government of France.

Yukihiro Takahashi is a Japanese musician, singer, record producer and actor, who is best known internationally as the drummer and lead vocalist of the Yellow Magic Orchestra, and as the former drummer of the Sadistic Mika Band. He is currently a member of the group METAFIVE.

Bonaventura Clotet Sala is a Spanish (Catalan) physician. He has been the head of the HIV unit at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital (HUGTiP) in Badalona from 1987 to 2015, and since then he has been the head of the Infectious Diseases service at the same hospital. He has been the director of the IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute since 1995 and chairman of the Fight Against AIDS Foundation since 1992. Since 2006 he has been co-director of the HIVACAT AIDS vaccine research program. He has been an associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona since 1986 and director of the Chair in AIDS and Related Diseases at the University of Vic, since October 2013.
