Dom Duarte Pio, Duke of Braganza is a claimant to the defunct Portuguese throne, as the head of the House of Braganza. The Miguelist Braganzas, to whom Duarte Pio belongs as great-grandson of King Miguel I, is a cadet branch of the House of Braganza. With the extinction of male-line dynasts descended from Queen Maria II in 1932, King Miguel's descendants became the only male-line Braganzas remaining and the closest male-line heirs to the defunct Portuguese throne.

Anthony Richard Conigliaro, nicknamed "Tony C" and "Conig", was a Major League Baseball outfielder and right-handed batter who played for the Boston Red Sox and California Angels (1971). Born in Revere, Massachusetts, he was a 1962 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Lynn, Massachusetts. Conigliaro started his MLB career as a teenager, hitting a home run in his first at-bat during his home field debut in 1964, going on to set the still current record for home runs by a teenager, with 24. During the Red Sox "Impossible Dream" season of 1967, he was hit in the face by a pitch that caused a severe eye injury and derailed his career. Though he would make a comeback from the injury, his career was not the same afterwards.

Toshikatsu Matsuoka was a Japanese politician. He served as the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries from 26 September 2006 under the Abe cabinet. He committed suicide in 2007 in the middle of a financial scandal.

Guy Teissier is a French politician serving as the member of the National Assembly for the sixth constituency of the Bouches-du-Rhône department since 1993, previously briefly holding the position in 1988. He has been a member of The Republicans since the party was established in 2015. He served as Mayor of the Fifth Sector of Marseille from 1983 to 1989 and again from 1995 until 2014. The Government of Azerbaijan has blacklisted Teissier who visited Artsakh in 2011 without Baku's permission.

Shozaburo Jimi is a former Japanese politician of the now defunct People's New Party, and was a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet. Jimi is a registered medical practitioner, and was a graduate of the department of medicine at Kyushu University in 1977. He was elected to the House of Councillors 2007, after serving more than 20 years in the House of Representatives of Japan for the 4th and 10th Fukuoka districts respectively. He served as the Minister of State for Financial Services and Postal Reform from 2010 to 2012.

Alejo Vidal-Quadras Roca is a Spanish politician and radiation physicist who served as a Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2014, and served as First Vice President of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2007.
