Erin Cressida Wilson is an American playwright, screenwriter, professor, and author.

August Maus was a German U-boat commander in World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross of Nazi Germany. Prior to taking command of U-185, he served as an officer on U-68 under the command of Captain Karl-Friedrich Merten. Maus was taken prisoner following the sinking of U-185 and in 1944 participated in an escape attempt from the prisoner-of-war camp Papago Park in the United States.

Zdeněk Bakala is a Czech entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist. He is a stakeholder in mining, energy, financial businesses and owns the media company Economia, the publisher of Hospodářské noviny and Respekt magazine among others. As of 2017, Bakala is the tenth wealthiest person in the Czech Republic according to Forbes. His philanthropic activities are directed via the Bakala Foundation.

Gregor Wentzel was a German physicist known for development of quantum mechanics. Wentzel, Hendrik Kramers, and Léon Brillouin developed the Wentzel–Kramers–Brillouin approximation in 1926. In his early years, he contributed to X-ray spectroscopy, but then broadened out to make contributions to quantum mechanics, quantum electrodynamics, and meson theory.

Melvin Eugene Carnahan was an American lawyer and politician who served as the 51st Governor of Missouri from 1993 until his death in a plane crash in 2000. A Democrat, he was elected posthumously to the U.S. Senate; his widow, Jean, served in his stead for two years until a special election.
