Zhang Zhongsheng
Zhang Zhongsheng is a former Chinese politician who spent his entire career in his home-province Shanxi. He was investigated by China's top anti-graft agency in May 2014. Previously he served as vice mayor of Lüliang, and before that, magistrate and then party secretary of Zhongyang County, the coal-rich county where he worked for over 34 years. Zhang was sacked for graft in May 2014 and was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve for accepting bribes worth 1.04 billion yuan.

Walis Perin
Walis Perin is a Seediq Taiwanese politician. He served four terms in the Legislative Yuan from 1993 to 2005, each time with a different political affiliation. He became a founding member of the Non-Partisan Solidarity Union in 2004, and after losing reelection, was appointed the minister for the Council of Indigenous Peoples in 2005. He stepped down in 2007, and since then has launched two unsuccessful legislative campaigns, in 2012 with the People First Party and 2016, representing the Democratic Progressive Party. In 2018, Walis Perin was appointed to the Control Yuan.

Ling Zhengce is a former Chinese politician from Shanxi province. From 2008 to 2014 Ling served as the vice-chairman of the Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and prior to that the director of Shanxi Development and Reform Commission. Alongside Ling Jihua, he was removed from office in 2014 and charged with corruption, bribery, and graft. Ling Zhengce was then sentenced to twelve and a half years in prison.
