Tania Ann Luiz is an Australian badminton player. At the age of nine, Luiz moved with her family to Melbourne, Australia. She started playing badminton three years later, and went on to represent Australia at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, coincidentally in her home city. She defeated South Africa's Michelle Edwards and Fiji's Karyn Whiteside in the preliminary rounds, before losing out her third match to New Zealand's Rachel Hindley, with a score of 7–21 and 12–21.

Jennings Bryan "Ears" Whitworth was an American football player and coach of football and baseball. He served as the head football coach at Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College—now known as Oklahoma State University–Stillwater—from 1950 to 1954 and the University of Alabama from 1955 to 1957, compiling a career college football coaching record of 26–51–4. Whitworth also coached baseball at Alabama from 1933 to 1934 and the University of Georgia in 1943, tallying a career college baseball coaching mark of 22–21.

Dennis Eugene Scott is an American retired professional basketball player. A 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m) small forward from Georgia Tech, and the 1990 ACC Men's Basketball Player of the Year, Scott was selected by the Orlando Magic with the fourth pick of the 1990 NBA draft after being the leading scorer on a Yellow Jackets team that made the Final Four, and comprising one portion of Georgia Tech's "Lethal Weapon 3" attack featuring Scott, Kenny Anderson and Brian Oliver.

Denny Setiawan is an Indonesian badminton player who later represented Singapore. Setiawan joined the PB Djarum club in 2006, and now works as a badminton coach. Setiawan was part of the Indonesia junior team that competed at the 1997 and 1998 Asian Junior Championships, winning a silver and four bronze medals. He had won some international senior tournament in Asian Satellite and also in Oceania, and the 2003 Waikato International tournament impressed him, by defeating the top seeds Keita Masuda and Tadashi Ohtsuka, of Japan.

Vladimir Alexandrovich Karpets is a Russian road bicycle racer, who last rode for UCI ProTeam Movistar Team. Karpets is most notable for winning the white jersey for best young rider in the 2004 Tour de France and his victories in the overall classifications of the Volta a Catalunya and the Tour de Suisse, both in 2007. Karpets is also a two-time Olympian.

Deon McCaulay is a Belizean international footballer who plays as a forward for Georgia Revolution FC in the National Premier Soccer League.
