Björn Rune Borg is a former world No. 1 tennis player from Sweden. Between 1974 and 1981, he became the first man in the Open Era to win 11 Grand Slam singles titles, but he was never able to win the US Open in four finals appearances. He is the first male player to win five Wimbledon titles in the Open Era. He won four consecutive French Open (1978–81) and is 6–0 in French Open finals. He is one of two male players, along with Roger Federer, to appear in French Open and Wimbledon finals for four consecutive years (1978–81) and only one to win both of them for three consecutive years (1978–80). He is the first male player to appear in French Open, Wimbledon and US Open finals in the same year three time in his career, a record surpassed only by Federer who achieve the same task for four consecutive years (2006–09).

Taylor Harry Fritz is an American professional tennis player. He reached an ATP final in his third career event, the 2016 Memphis Open. Only one other American has reached an ATP final in fewer career events.

Madison Keys is an American professional tennis player. She achieved a career-high ranking of No. 7 in the world in October 2016 and has been consistently ranked inside the top 25 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) since early 2015. Keys has played in one Grand Slam tournament final at the 2017 US Open, competed at the 2016 WTA Finals, and was a semifinalist at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She has won five WTA tournaments, all at the Premier level. Her biggest title came at the 2019 Cincinnati Open, a Premier 5 event.

Denis Shapovalov is a Canadian professional tennis player. Shapovalov is currently ranked 12th in the world, and was the youngest to crack the top 30 since 2005. His career-high ATP singles ranking is No. 10 in the world. He is currently the seventh youngest player ranked within the ATP top 100, behind his Canadian compatriot Félix Auger-Aliassime, Serbian Miomir Kecmanović, Australian Alexei Popyrin, Frenchman Corentin Moutet, Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Italian Jannik Sinner.

John Robert Isner is an American professional tennis player who has been ranked as high as No. 8 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Considered one of the best servers ever to play on the ATP Tour, Isner achieved his career-high singles ranking in July 2018 by virtue of his maiden Masters 1000 crown at the 2018 Miami Open and a semifinals appearance at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships. He has also twice reached the quarterfinals at the US Open in 2011 and 2018, the latter of which helped qualify him for his first ATP Finals appearance later that year. He currently has the second-most aces in the history of the ATP Tour, having served over 12,000 aces. At the 2010 Wimbledon Championships, he played the longest professional tennis match in history, defeating Nicolas Mahut in a total of 11 hours and 5 minutes, played over the course of three days. Isner currently holds the record for hitting the ATP's fastest "official" serve ever and third-fastest on record in tennis at 157.2 mph or 253 km/h during his first-round 2016 Davis Cup match.

Christine Marie Evert, known as Chris Evert Lloyd from 1979 to 1987, is a retired American world No. 1 tennis player. She won 18 Grand Slam singles championships and three doubles titles. She was the year-ending world No. 1 singles player in 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, and 1981. Overall, Evert won 157 singles championships and 32 doubles titles.

Karolína Plíšková is a Czech professional tennis player. She is a former world No. 1 in singles, reaching the top of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings on 17 July 2017 and holding the position for eight weeks. She is currently ranked No. 6 in the world as of October 2020 and has been ranked inside the top 10 continuously since late 2016. On 31 October 2016, she peaked at world No. 11 in the doubles rankings.

Diego Sebastián Schwartzman ; German: [ˈʃvaʁtsman]; born 16 August 1992) is an Argentine professional tennis player competing on the ATP Tour. He has won three ATP singles titles, and reached his career-high singles ranking of world No. 8 in October 2020. Although known as a clay court specialist, he actually prefers grass courts. He is noted for his high-quality return game.

Petra Kvitová is a Czech professional tennis player. Known for her powerful left-handed groundstrokes and variety, Kvitová turned professional in 2006 and has won 27 career singles titles, two of which are Grand Slam titles, the Wimbledon Championships in 2011 and in 2014. She also won a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Her career-high ranking of world No. 2 was reached on 31 October 2011.

Timothy Henry Henman OBE is a British retired professional tennis player. Henman played a serve-and-volley style of tennis. He was the first male player from the United Kingdom since Roger Taylor in the 1970s to reach the semi-finals of the Wimbledon Men's Singles Championship. Henman never reached a final of any Grand Slam but reached six Grand Slam semi-finals and won 15 career ATP titles, including the Paris Masters in 2003. Also, he scored 40 wins and 14 losses with the Great Britain Davis Cup team.
