Ihar Boki
Ihar Boki is a visually impaired Belarusian Paralympic swimmer. He competed at the 2012 and 2016 Paralympics and won 11 gold medals. As of February 2013, he holds the S13 long course world records in 100, 200 and 400 metre freestyle, 50 and 100 metre backstroke and 200 metres individual medley events. In 2018, he was named the World Disabled Male Swimmer of the Year by Swimming World.

Joanna Maranhão
Joanna de Albuquerque Maranhão Bezerra de Melo, or Joanna Maranhão is a swimmer from Brazil, who competed at three consecutive Summer Olympics for her native country, starting in 2004. She was a finalist in the 400-metre individual medley at 2004 Athens, finishing in 5th place, the best position of all time obtained by the Brazil women's swimming, along with Piedade Coutinho. Joanna also broke countless Brazilian and South American records.

Gustavo Borges
Gustavo França Borges is a Brazilian former competitive swimmer. He swam for Brazil in the Summer Olympic Games in: 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004. Borges, together with sailor Robert Scheidt, has won the second-most Olympic medals of any Brazilian, with four—one in 1992, two in 1996 and one in 2000—behind sailor Torben Grael. He also has the third-most Pan American Games gold medals of any Brazilian, with eight—behind swimmer Thiago Pereira and table tennis player Hugo Hoyama. Borges was Brazil's flagbearer for the Closing Ceremony at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Kliment Andreyevich Kolesnikov is a Russian swimmer. He holds world junior records in nine events: 50/100/200 back in long course, as well as 100/200 free, 50/100/200 back and 100 IM in short course.
Stephanie Rice
Stephanie Louise Rice, OAM is an Australian former competitive swimmer. She won three gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia on 26 January 2009.
Rami Anis
Rami Anis is a Syrian swimmer, who now resides in Belgium, and representing a small Refugee Olympic Team (ROT) under the Olympic flag, at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. As war took hold of his home town Aleppo, Anis fled to Turkey then, by dinghy to Greece and on to Belgium.
Silke Lippok
Silke Lippok is a German swimmer. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 200 m, 4 × 100 m and 4 × 200 m freestyle events and finished in 13th, 9th and 11th place, respectively. She won three European titles in these events in 2010–2012.
