Sergei Mikhailovich Makarov is a Russian former ice hockey right wing and two-time Olympic gold medalist. He was voted one of six players to the International Ice Hockey Federation's (IIHF) Centennial All-Star Team in a poll conducted by a group of 56 experts from 16 countries.

Thomas Schneider is a German professional football manager and former player who played as a defender. He is the current assistant manager to Joachim Löw for the German national team. Schneider had previously been manager of Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart.

Joseph Jean Arthur Béliveau was a Canadian professional ice hockey player who played parts of 20 seasons with the National Hockey League's (NHL) Montreal Canadiens from 1950 to 1971. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972, "Le Gros Bill" Béliveau is widely regarded as one of the 10 Greatest NHL players of all time. Born in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Béliveau first played professionally in the Quebec Major Hockey League (QMHL). He made his NHL debut with the Canadiens in 1950, but chose to remain in the QMHL full-time until 1953.

David D. "Deacon" Jones was an American professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, and the Washington Redskins. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980.

Theofanis "Fanis" Gekas is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a striker.

Sandra Anne "Sandy" Brondello is an Australian women's basketball coach, and the current coach of the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA. Brondello played in Australia, Germany and the WNBA before retiring to become a coach. The 1.70 m (5'7") Brondello is one of Australia's all-time best shooting guards. She played on Australia's "Opals" national team at four Summer Olympics, and won three medals. She attended the Australian Institute of Sport in 1986–1987, and was inducted to the Australian Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.

Ulrich "Ulli" Schulze is a former East German football player. The former goalkeeper is now working as a manager.

Emmanuel Mayuka is a Zambian professional footballer who plays as a striker for NAPSA Stars and the Zambian national team. He was the top scorer in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
