Woodrow Wilson Woolwine Strode was an American athlete and actor. He was a decathlete and football star who was one of the first Black American players in the National Football League in the postwar era. After football, he went on to become a film actor, where he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Spartacus in 1960. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.

Mario Jerrel Williams is a former American football defensive end and outside linebacker. He played college football for North Carolina State University, and was selected first overall by the Houston Texans in the 2006 NFL Draft. A four-time Pro Bowl selection, he has also played for the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.

Maurice L. Smith is a retired American kickboxer and mixed martial artist. In kickboxing, he held the WKC world light heavyweight championship, the WKA world heavyweight championship, and the ISKA world heavyweight championship. In mixed martial arts, he held the Heavyweight championship in Battlecade Extreme Fighting and the UFC, and became a member of the UFC Hall of Fame in 2017. A professional competitor since 1980, Smith has formerly competed in kickboxing for the companies All Japan Enterprise and K-1, Pancrase, RINGS, PRIDE, Strikeforce, International Fight League and RFA.

Pedro Mba Obiang Avomo is a Spanish-born Equatoguinean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Italian club Sassuolo and the Equatorial Guinea national team. He had previously played for Sampdoria, before moving to London, and the Premier League, in 2015. Obiang has represented Spain at under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels before switching to represent the Equatorial Guinea national football team.

Brian Viloria is an American retired professional boxer of Filipino descent. He is a former unified WBA and WBO flyweight champion, as well as a former WBC and IBF light flyweight champion. His nickname of "The Hawaiian Punch" was first given to him by Jesus Salud, a fellow Hawaiian of Filipino descent and himself a former world champion in boxing.

Christopher Michael Gronkowski is a former American Football fullback. He went undrafted in the 2010 NFL Draft after playing college football at the University of Arizona. He was eventually signed by the Dallas Cowboys (2010), Indianapolis Colts (2011), and the Denver Broncos (2012).

Jeff Glass is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League (AHL). Glass was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the 3rd round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He joined their minor league affiliate and played several years with the organization before leaving as a free agent to join Barys Astana in 2009. He made his long-awaited NHL debut in the 2017–18 season with the Chicago Blackhawks.
