Frank Wead
Frank Wilbur "Spig" Wead was a U.S. Navy aviator who helped promote United States Naval aviation from its inception through World War II. Commander Wead was a recognized authority on early aviation. Following a crippling spinal injury in 1926, Wead was placed on the retired list. In the 1930s, he became a screenwriter, becoming involved in more than 30 movies. He also published several books, short stories and magazine articles. During World War II, he returned to active duty. He initially worked in a planning role, but later undertook sea duty in the Pacific, where he saw action against the Japanese in 1943–44 before being placed on the retired list in mid-1945.

Sean Edward Miller is an American men's college basketball coach for the Arizona Wildcats in the Pac-12 Conference. Miller is a three-time gold medalist as a member of USA Basketball, once as a player, once as an assistant coach, and once as head coach. Honors have followed Miller's success as he has won four league Coach of the Year Awards - once in the A10, three in the Pac-12, and once as USA Basketball Coach of the Year.

Georg Uecker
Georg Uecker is a German actor. Since 1985, he has played the character of Dr. Carsten Flöter on the popular German TV series Lindenstraße on ARD. Controversially, in 1987, he kissed Gert Weinbauer. This was the first gay kiss in a German series in the evening. A second kiss was in 1990 with character Robert Engel this brought about discussions on LGBT topics in the media. Uecker still continues to play the character. His other television credits include Schillerstraße and he is often a guest on Genial daneben. He is an LGBT-activist and lives in Cologne.

María Peláez Navarrete is a former butterfly swimmer from Spain, who competed at five consecutive Summer Olympics for her native country, starting in 1992. She won the silver medal in the 200 m butterfly at the 1999 European Aquatics Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, after gaining the title in the same event, two years earlier at the European Championships in Seville, Spain.
