Zhao Xi, courtesy name Boyang, was a politician who lived in the early Eastern Han Dynasty.

Zhao Yun, courtesy name Zilong (子龍), was a military general who lived during the late Eastern Han dynasty and early Three Kingdoms period of China. Originally a subordinate of the northern warlord Gongsun Zan, Zhao Yun later came to serve another warlord, Liu Bei, and had since accompanied him on most of his military exploits, from the Battle of Changban (208) to the Hanzhong Campaign (217–219). He continued serving in the state of Shu Han – founded by Liu Bei in 221 – in the Three Kingdoms period and participated in the first of the Northern Expeditions until his death in 229. While many facts about Zhao Yun's life remain unclear due to limited information in historical sources, some aspects and activities in his life have been dramatised or exaggerated in folklore and fiction. In the 14th-century historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, he was lauded as a member of the Five Tiger Generals under Liu Bei.

Zhao Zongqi is a general of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China and the current Commanding Officer of the Western Theater Command.

Zhao Hongzhu is a retired Chinese politician and previously a member of the Communist Party of China's national leadership. Zhao served as the Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency, as well as a Secretary of the Central Secretariat.

Zhao Yide is a Chinese politician. He is the current the Governor and the Deputy Communist Party Secretary of Hebei. Earlier in his career, he served as the Party Secretary of Hangzhou, and the Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Party Committee.

Zhao Fusan (赵复三) (1926–2015) was a Chinese scholar of Christianity. From the 1950s to the 1980s, he was involved in the Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), but lived in exile after 1989. Together with Zhao Puchu and Zhao Zichen, they are known as "Three Zhaos" in the academic field of religious studies in Mainland China. He died in Connecticut, U.S. on 15 July 2015.
