Shigeru Suzuki is a Japanese musician, songwriter and guitarist. He first became known as a member of the influential rock band Happy End, but is now a prolific session musician. As of 2006, Suzuki had contributed to 588 recordings.
Shigeru Sugishita
Shigeru Sugishita is a former Japanese professional baseball pitcher and coach. Renowned for his forkball, Sugishita dominated the Central League from 1950–1955, winning more than 30 games twice, and garnering three Eiji Sawamura Awards. Sugishita usually split his time between starting games and pitching in relief. He played 11 seasons, ten of them for the Chunichi/Nagoya Dragons.

Shigeru Tamanofuji
Tamanofuji Shigeru is a former sumo wrestler from Ogawa, Nasu District, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. He made his professional debut in 1967, reaching a highest rank of sekiwake in 1978. He won three special prizes and earned two gold stars. He retired in 1981 and became an elder of the Japan Sumo Association. He was the head coach of the Kataonami stable from 1987 until 2010, when he changed his elder name to Tateyama. He reached 65 years of age in 2014, the normal age of retirement for an elder, but was re-hired for a further five years as a consultant.

He was previously an outfielder for the Yomiuri Giants and won the 1968 Central League Rookie of the Year award.
