Damien Chazelle
Damien Sayre Chazelle is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his films Whiplash (2014), La La Land (2016), and First Man (2018). For La La Land, he received several accolades, including the Golden Globe Award and the Academy Award for Best Director; making him the youngest person to win either award at age 32.
David Ayer
David Ayer is an American filmmaker, best known for making crime films based in Los Angeles and which deal with gangs and police corruption. His screenplays include Training Day (2001), The Fast and the Furious (2001), and S.W.A.T. (2003). He has also directed Harsh Times (2005), Street Kings (2008), End of Watch (2012), and Sabotage (2014). In 2016, he directed the superhero film Suicide Squad from the DC Extended Universe, and then the urban fantasy film Bright (2017) for Netflix. He has twice collaborated with actor Shia LaBeouf: first with the World War II drama Fury (2014), then the crime thriller The Tax Collector (2020). He has also collaborated with his friend Cle Shaheed Sloan who has appeared in 5 of his films.
Marc Webb
Marc Preston Webb is an American music video director and filmmaker. He made his feature film directorial debut with the 2009 romantic comedy-drama 500 Days of Summer, and went on to direct the 2012 Spider-Man reboot The Amazing Spider-Man, its 2014 sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and the 2017 drama films Gifted and The Only Living Boy in New York.

Wolfgang Petersen is a German film director, producer and screenwriter. He was nominated for two Academy Awards for the World War II submarine warfare film Das Boot (1981). His other films include The NeverEnding Story (1984), Enemy Mine (1985), In the Line of Fire (1993), Outbreak (1995), Air Force One (1997), The Perfect Storm (2000), Troy (2004), and Poseidon (2006).

In addition to cameo appearances in the last six of these titles, he has had prominent acting roles in films including Never on Tuesday (1989), The Last Seduction (1994), The Great White Hype (1996), Cop Land (1997), Corky Romano (2001), Collateral (2004), Smokin' Aces (2006), and Lions for Lambs (2007).

David Lynch
David Keith Lynch is an American filmmaker, painter, musician, writer and actor. His films led to him being labeled "the first popular Surrealist" by film critic Pauline Kael. A recipient of an Academy Honorary Award in 2019, Lynch has received three Academy Award nominations for Best Director, and the César Award for Best Foreign Film twice, as well as the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and a Golden Lion award for lifetime achievement at the Venice Film Festival. In 2007, a panel of critics convened by The Guardian announced that 'after all the discussion, no one could fault the conclusion that David Lynch is the most important film-maker of the current era', while AllMovie called him "the Renaissance man of modern American filmmaking".

Mike Newell
Michael Cormac Newell is an English director and producer of motion pictures for film and television. Newell is best known for directing the films Four Weddings and a Funeral, Donnie Brasco, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He won the BAFTA Award for Best Direction for Four Weddings and a Funeral.
