Gary Alan Sinise is an American actor, director, musician, producer and philanthropist. Among other awards, he has won a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was nominated for multiple Tony Awards and an Academy Award.

Valentine Loewi Davies was an American film and television writer, producer, and director. His film credits included Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Chicken Every Sunday (1949), It Happens Every Spring (1949), The Bridges at Toko-Ri (1954), and The Benny Goodman Story (1955). He was nominated for the 1954 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for The Glenn Miller Story.

Kaspar Rostrup is a Danish film director. Two of his films won the Best Film prize at the Bodil Awards : Jeppe på bjerget (1981) and Waltzing Regitze (1989). The latter was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Jeppe på bjerget was entered into the 12th Moscow International Film Festival.

Andrea Štaka is a Swiss film director best known for winning the Golden Leopard at the 59th Locarno International Film Festival in 2006 for her film, Das Fräulein.

The best known may be Frode Birkeland in the television series Familiesagaen De syv søstre on TV2. His father was film director, producer, and screenwriter Peder Hamdahl Næss.

George Roger Waters is an English songwriter, singer, bassist, and composer. In 1965, he co-founded the progressive rock band Pink Floyd. Waters initially served solely as the bassist, but following the departure of singer-songwriter Syd Barrett in 1968, he also became their lyricist, co-lead vocalist, and conceptual leader.
