Sakichi Sato is a Japanese actor, director, and screenwriter. He has written several screenplay adaptations of manga series including Tokyo Zombie, Ichi The Killer, and Gozu. He also directed Miss Boys about cross-dressing schoolboys. In the West, he played Charlie Brown in Quentin Tarantino's 2003 film Kill Bill: Volume 1.

Michael Roesch is a Canadian film director, film producer and screenwriter. He collaborates on his movies with fellow filmmaker Peter Scheerer.

Dr. Jabbar Patel is a Marathi-language theatre and film director of India. His production of the play Vijay Tendulkar's play Ghashiram Kotwal, in 1973 is considered a classic in Modern Indian Theatre.

Jean-Charles Tacchella is a French screenwriter and film director. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for his film Cousin Cousine (1975), which was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and which was later (1989) remade in a US version starring Ted Danson and titled Cousins.

Marina Abramović is a Serbian conceptual and performance artist, philanthropist, writer, and filmmaker. Her work explores body art, endurance art and feminist art, the relationship between the performer and audience, the limits of the body, and the possibilities of the mind. Being active for over four decades, Abramović refers to herself as the "grandmother of performance art". She pioneered a new notion of identity by bringing in the participation of observers, focusing on "confronting pain, blood, and physical limits of the body". In 2007, she founded the Marina Abramović Institute (MAI), a non-profit foundation for performance art.
