Robert Eugene Richards is an American retired athlete, minister, and politician. He made three U.S. Olympic Teams in two events: the 1948, 1952, and 1956 Summer Olympics as a pole vaulter and as a decathlete in 1956. He won gold medals in pole vault in both 1952 and 1956, becoming the only male two-time champion in the event in Olympic history.

Ron Richards is a Canadian former ski jumper. He represented the Canadian national team at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia; the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada; and the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. Richards is also an avid golfer.

Wesley David Richards is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Major League Wrestling (MLW), under the ring name Davey Richards. He is best known for his time in Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor (ROH), and for several independent promotions, including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and Full Impact Pro (FIP).

Ben Richards is an English writer. Before writing novels and TV dramas, he worked for three years as a housing officer in Newham and Islington, London. As a research student at UCL's Department of Geography he spent a year investigating public housing in Chile and on his return to Britain began his first novel "to alleviate the boredom of analysing questionnaires" for his PhD thesis. Richards was a lecturer at the University of Birmingham and at University College London, where he taught development studies, specialising in South America. He is now a full-time writer.
